TAKING LECTURE NOTES

We writes or take a note with our own so that we can more understand of what we have learned.

Why ?

1.Help us to focus of what we had learned

2.Help us to do our revision

3.Help us to memorize 

Do we need to review our notes ?

 YES !

Why ? Because 80% of what we hear is lost if we just hear and not do some revision of its after class. Also we need to identify any questions for peers, the next class, or to ask the professor and 

ofcourse we don't have  enough time to absorb all the information given in class if it’s not reviewed on a regular basic. Unless you are a robot. Just Kidding !.

Taking notes before class :

Review the notes a day earlier

Review your reading assignment

Write the date at top of your paper for notes

Leave spaces between the line so you can put some additional information later.

Taking notes during class:

Make sure to just write in points or numbering ( not in paragraph or an essay)

Just write down what is important.

Useful abbreviations:

Prepare for Class :

Read what you will learn in class although you not fully understand. (It's okay because you will get an explanation from you lecture in your class later).

Review your notes.

Look up for the key words.
